Poorboy's World Product Updates

Any timeframe on the shampoo or updates on how its coming? For whatever its worth, the most important things to me in a shampoo are lubricity, scent and not removing wax or sealent. I hate when you wash a car and then the surface is no longer slick!!

More samples are on the way:) then more testing begins

Sometimes during testing we found that it was soap residue leftover not the removal of wax that caused the lack of slickness.
A quick Spray and Wipe to remove the excess soap, showed the wax was still there and so was still slick.

There seems to be a trade of of suds and lubrication vs having to rinse a lot or use a QD afterwards.:dunno

testing will continue before it's released

How about a leather cleaner and leather conditioner. Something like leatherique...
 
I asked him that one already...he said that there are no plans for that because NL contains some conditioners and because 4*'s leather conditioner is already a great product that would be difficult to improve upon.

A prototype was actually developed and tested, but it didn't offer any tangible benefits over using Natural Look or 4*'s Conditioner. As Boss_429 often says: "if it isn't better than what I'm already using, then I'm not buying it". I personally like the fact that Poorboy's doesn't release products unless they are truly top notch offerings. It's also nice of Steve to compliment 4*'s product. :bigups
 
Classy and smart! Its because Poorboys doesn't release 2nd class products that we trust the name. I would blindly try any product that Poorboys offers in the future and I would have faith that it will be among the best I own. I think a lot of other people feel this way and that reputation is what makes PB so great
 
Thought I'd bump the thread and give an overall update...

1) Poorboy's World t-shirts are now available:bigups

2) Car Wash has been named and will be going into production soon...Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds Concentrated Car Wash:)

3) At least one wheel cleaner has been named also and will also go into production soon...Spray & Rinse Wheel Cleaner:)

4) The Heavy Duty Bug and Tar remover was scrapped for now due to EPA and VOC upcoming regulations:dunno

5) New International Distributors are in the works, and we've added Canada already:cool

6) Our picture gallery is growing and more will be added this upcoming week..thanks to all who contributed:bigups


I think that's it for now....and more updates will follow:D
 
OK, time to get started on a super glossy final QD! :D

P.S. You can name it Poorboy's Super Gloss QD, or Spray & Shine, or Spray & Super Shine!

I ordered from Autogeek some QD but I am getting the old stuff, anyway to get the new.
Last time I order from Autogeek been over 9 days still no package, their shipping sucks donkey balls
 
Autogeek only has the new version of QD+, I'm not sure who has any of the original formula other than me and possibley ScottP...

as to Autogeeks shipping:dunno they have always been known as a premier service company as far as i know. Contact them and if you have any problems, just let me know.

Detailgirl, where are you located?? If you're in CA that's a week for shipping.
You should have gotten an email with tracking info.. maybe UPS lost it :dunno

beautiful girl who used to help me wax my camaro for the first three years we dated and then got tired and for the next 5, she just answered the phone :phone: "he's waxing the car" ..no hello or hi ..just "he's waxing the car" :lmfao

loved the lakes and downtown too, but your winters were too much for me:dunno

hope they sent you a tracking # so you can keep an eye on its' progress:)
 
If anyone is interested I have the old QD+ version but a little leaked. Its extra special for the packaging too! :lol
 
I use them, as i still like the original version better, and I still get requests for it too.:)
 
Really? I thought the newer version was superior. I will match and beat Steve's price if anyone wants the old version! :D
