Poorboys Versus Adam

No problem. You can use any clay bar with any QD really.

Oh great. The Adams Clay bar comes with a Plastic Storage box do i need to put the Clay bar in a bag first and then put it in the Storage box?

It will be fine to just put it in the container. You shoudl also split up your bar into 2 or 3 pieces so that if you drop it then you have more to work with.

Bad title...I thought you were going to post a link to a pay-per-view detailing spectacular! :rolling

If i use Adams Clay Bar with Poorboys Quick Detailer will there be a problem?
Not sure which QD you have from Steve? You can use S & W, and S & G would probably work, but I wouldn't use QD+.

It doesn't matter what QD you use, it just acts as something slippery between the clay and your finish. You could use vegetable oil if you were really bored and felt like cleaning it up, we use QD's because they wipe off nicely with a towel.

QD+ is a thick spray wax. It does not have enough lubricity to use as a clay lube. The Poorboy's products which would make the best clay lube are either Spray & Wipe or diluted Super Slick & Suds Car Wash (31 ounces of water to 1 ounce of SS&S).
