Poorboys Sealant

EX (either carnauba or -P) can be layered for added protection and gloss. Generally Iâ€Ëœll apply twice to ensure good coverage and consistency. Use EX as your LSP or top with a quality carnauba.

Thanks guys, my original plan was 2 coats of EX (after polishing) followed by some P21S... and then the rain fell... and then I had to use the car! So she's wearing just one coat of EX at the moment, and I won't get the chance to detail the car for another week :(

Can/should Poorboys EX Sealant be layered? Anyone done it? Any better?

I will always do two layers of any product just to ensure adequate coverage. Most of these products require such a thin layer that it's easy to miss some spots and a second coat usually will catch it. I've done 3 and 4 layers of EX P and liked the results, but anything beyond that with any prodcut to me is pretty much over kill. I'd rather wait a month and give it another couple coats and be good to go. During the summer, I'll usually do a glaze and LSP once a month just for that just waxed look that it gives.:D
