poorboys sampler kits

I am new to this and just recently bought a white vw gti. Do u think its worth it to hey the sample kit? Since I really dont know what I'm doing
 
The sample kits are a great way to try out Poorboys. The products also go a long way.
I assume your talking about the small bottles.
 
Awesome I'm gonna order a sample kit this coming weeek which would you guys recommend? Car is an 06 white vw. Gti
 
If you don't know what you're doing it would be worth your time to read some threads about the basics. Lots of good info here.

If possible, you may be able to find someone local who would be willing to give / sell you some samples and pointers. Many of us have more products than we'd ever need, but we have the desire to try everything!

I just started out detailing and I couldn't decide between the Poorboy's sample kit vs the Optimum sample kit. I ended up going with Optimum, but plan to try out Poorboy's next time.
 
I'm really interested in poorboys products as well.. Is there anyone locally in san Diego that would be willing to part with a small sample of PwS or PwC on the cheap?
 
There is no such thing as a bad Poorboys product. I originally started using them because they can be used in direct sunlight, but quickly fell in love with their polishes. I've tried Menzerna, Optimum, etc but nothing ever seems to add up to Poorboys. I would also suggest to the OP to look into White Diamond for his white car. Its like Black Hole, but for light colors :)
 
PwS or PwC would both give you great results. Most of them do tend to dust a little, but nothing major. The SSR line is awesome especially SSR2. Its the glossiest polish I've ever used, but its bright and will turn dark colors into a mirror rather than a deep glow. I like to go back over SSR2 with Black Hole just to give it that dark tone.
 
For someone starting out the sample kit is one of the best ways to go about it. Poorboys has been my go to for detailing for years. For beginners its great they are easy to use, produce excellent results by hand or with machine. User friendly, meaning they are easy on and off. The plus is they come in at a price range that won't break the bank!
 
another vote for poorboys

that sample kit that included polish with sealant and bold & bright is the way to go I think. PwS is a great one step product and I'm gonna say bold & bright is my tire dressing of choice (if forced to pick only 1)

I've found the SSR polishes do dust a bit, but haven't really noticed that very much at all using PwS

I like to save the bottles from the sample kits. So when you like the product, and purchase the big boy size, you can still just carry the little bottle and refill as needed.
