poorboy's pre wax cleaner??

I believe PB's Pro Polish would fit the bill very well. I've used Pro Polish for spot cleaning stains on paint with pretty good luck.

Hope this helps.

any of the SSR's would also be considered pre-wax cleaners....it really depends on what you are trying to achieve...

ProPolish = pad dependant pure polish and cleaner of paint, clearcoats, plastic, glass, metal, chrome, etc...

Polish w/ Carnuba = paint cleaner and polish that leaves a base of protection (carnauba, polymers) that can stand on its own or be topped with a wax and some sealants.

SSR's = polishes and compounds from removing light haze and pre-wax buffing with SSR1 to sanding and major marring removed with SSR3

Again all will prepare the finish pre-waxing just in different ways. :)

my car is new, just about a month old so i planned to do it in this order?

You will not be sorry if you use the Propolish. It will leave a very nice surface. Do half the hood and see if you like the results. I use the polish pad. The finish pad may give a better shine. Not sure about that.
EX-p with a finish pad and Natty's by hand. Post pictures.

Sorry, didn't get to the other question. I use plush mf towels. Have never used PC with bonnet.

I run PP on speed 4.5-5, use sparingly and work it well.
I run EX-P at 3.5.
