Good deal!:bigups Let me know as the back end of the SC430 between the spoiler and trunk gets the most dust. Love to see if it repels or just not as dusty. The only other place that get dust as much is the back seat area!

Well, I've completed my Souveran vs. Natty's vs. Souveran/Natty's experiment. To refresh your memories, I was attempting to merge the look of Souveran with the dust repelling properties of Natty's. As Deanski's photos demonstrated, both products can look very similar on certain colors of cars. However, on some very dark colors, there is a more noticeable difference. IMHO, Souveran has more depth and color saturation while Natty's provides a much crisper reflection.
My test vehicle was a burgundy colored Acura MDX. The surface was prepped with SSR2.5 and VM. On the hood, I applied Souveran to one side and Natty's to another. After several days, the Souveran side had accumulated significantly more dust than the Natty's side. This was as expected.
After using S&W to clean the surface, the Souveran side was divided in half. One section was left alone with the original layer of Souveran, while the other section was topped with Natty's. Immediately, the look was altered. To my eyes, all the best visual qualities of each wax were compromised. The combo section was no longer as deep or color saturated as the solo Souveran portion, and the reflections were not as sharp as the solo Natty's portion. The overall look of the combo was extremely dark. It certainly wasn't an unpleasant look, but I considered it a failed experiment since the look of Souveran was not retained once the Natty's was added.
Despite this "disappointing" result, I decided to continue with the experiment to see if the Souveran/Natty's combo would behave differently with regards to its dust attraction properties. After several more days had passed, I observed that the combo section did have less dust than the section with Souveran alone. For that aspect, this experiment was a success. However, the visual attributes were unchanged from the time of the Natty's topper. The Souveran was still deeper and showed richer colors. The Natty's still had a clearer reflection. And, the combo section was still dark with decent depth, color, and reflectivity; but nowhere near the levels of each product alone.
What will I choose to do? I will still use Natty's for most light colors and metallics. Whites will still get CMW, while most medium to dark colors will get S100. Souveran will be reserved for garage queens with very dark colored paints. That's my take on this situation. Your mileage may vary.
