To anyone in the area this is a great event. It actually marks the beginning of my detailing hobby. 2008. Before that I was just messing around. I can say I learned more on that dawn to dusk Saturday about proper car care, washing, cleaners, types of polishes, how to run a polisher, pad choices, the difference between using a da, a forced rotation DA (flex) thanks Ron, a rotary(still can't use this effectively) applying waxes and sealants than I have learned in all the days since.
Steve and pockets run a great event and if your a newbie or a serious mid level detailer you can up your game, meet great people and have some fun at the meet. All of the poorboys liquids and polishes are available to use at the meet and it's a good time to try everything you always wondered about. To me their spray and wipe and Pro Polish are very under rated for the results they yield. The other products I especially like are the super slick and suds, bold n bright and exp sealant.
I came not being able to stand the finish on my black 2008 m35x and left with a mirror black finish knowing 2 things. I could now handle black and I would never buy another black car. Well never is pretty strong but it's 2015 and that black car still has me thinking don't cave in everytime I sit at the dealer thinking dam that looks nice. Perhaps I should do that again. So far I have resisted. We will see
