poorboy's all purpose cleaner review

Today i decided to try the All purpose Cleaner on the rubber mats in the element. They were pretty dirty from the dried salt and other dirt and mud.

First on the cleaner itself. the smell is not that bad. smells like most all purpose cleaners would. but not that strong. lots of suds.

I started by wetting the mat with warm water to get the heavy thick dirt off.
I then sprayed the mat with the cleaner. using a stiff bristle brush i scrubbed the mat not too hard. i was amazed at the amount of suds that were created for the little amount of cleaner i used. After scrubbing the entire mat a few times. i then proceeded to wash off the cleaner with warm water. the mat came very clean from all the dirt and salt residue. There was also no residue left from the cleaner itself.

All in all i was very impressed with the cleaner and will continue to use it. in the spring i should be able to use it more. when the time comes i will use it on the engine. as it is not that dirty since the car is only a month old. Thanks Sterve for another great poorboys product. :)

Nice to hear about this product. I used it tonite to clean some pet odors out of my carpet. It left it smelling dead neutral, which is what I wanted. More testing is needed though :)

Did you use it full-strength?

Funny this thread came up , I just did that to my mat's this weekend.

I used up some of the old Bio-cleaner . Sprayed it , let it soak , rinsed it , DONE !!

Worked great !!

Have not tried any of the PB products yet but can't wait to purchase some :)
thanks for the review :)

Got to love the Element for not having carpet! LOL My cousin and I cleaned out his Element last year and it was a breeze.

Not trying to be sarchastic here, but what makes PB's APC better/different than simple green, kirkland apc, fantastic, etc...?

I've replaced my wheel cleaners, engine & undercarriage degreasers, carpet shampoos, leather (yes leather) and vinyl cleaners, and window cleaner with this product. I also use Poorboys APC as a primary soap upstreamed through a pressure washer to maintain 2 very large fleets of various sized vehicles.

Dilution ratios have to be be played with for each task, but I'm using approx 10 to 15 gallons of APC per week and have nothing but good things to say about it.

It's pretty rare to discover a product that works this well in the middle of winter, and I'm salivating to see what this stuff does in hot weather!! :)
