Poorboy is unavailable

Sorry to hear about that Steve. I sure hope you get well soon. I wouldn't want you to miss out on any Easter Egg Hunts :)

AWD, you are amazing!! Steve is a great guy to have friends like you. I would have done the same if I were anywhere near y'all. PLEASE put my label on crooked!

Best wishes and a "Get Well Soon", for Steve. Sure seems like he has had more than his share of problems. Our :kneel are with him.

Gary

My prayers are with Steve and his family. He surely seems to have endured quite enough for one lifetime. A quick lap. chole. or ERCP and Steve should be as good as new.

awd330, don't even worry about the label on one of those jars. upside down, inside out, doesn't matter one bit to me as long as its some Natty's inside.:lmfao

Yikes, forget bout the wax!!.That can wait, take good care of yourself Steve, hope you get well soon.:kneel

Best wishes from us all in DC:shift

I had mine removed about 5 years ago and it was very easy. You'll be back to normal in no time.

Time to get those girls out there in the warehouse. They're what....four yrs old now? Gett'm to work and get those orders out. :D ;) Heck...with a couple pillows they should do fine drivin the forklift.

Steve has been admitted into the hospital

I spoke with Steve's wife (Judy) this morning. Steve was admitted into the hospital last night. :( She said they spent many hours examining him and running various tests for abdominal pain, but the doctors had not yet come up with a specific diagnosis. She finally went home to take care of the kids, but she is on her way back to the hospital now. I'll post another reply to this thread when I hear more, but Judy said that no one should expect to hear from Steve for several days. He doesn't even have a phone (let alone an internet connection) in his room yet.

Let's all think good thoughts for Steve and his family.

Steve, I hope they are able to pinpoint the problem quickly and that you are on the mend shortly. We miss you here. Being the doctor that I am, I believe that the remedy is 2 tablespoons of Natty's Wax morning and evening that will make those ducts so slippery that gall stones will fly through them like water through a tin horn. I really hope it isn't your Gallbladder. I know I've read the previous posts on here about it being an easy operation. NOT FOR ME, it was extremely painful.

I just got off the phone with Steve's wife. Steve had gall bladder surgery this morning. Surgery seemed to go well, and the general feeling is that he may be able to go home tomorrow. :)

For a while, the doctors suspected that he might have a more serious condition like pancreatitis or some type of intestinal blockage. After a battery of tests and examinations, they determined that it was his gall bladder after all.

Let's all give thanks and wish Steve an uncomplicated recovery.

[Note: Even if his recovery is a smooth process, it will still take some time for Steve to get back on his feet. I hope it goes without saying that Poorboy's customers should exercise patience during this period. Steve will be worried enough about his business without any of us adding to his burden. Let's allow him to concentrate on getting well by not bombarding him with phone calls, PMs, and emails. <Okay, getting off my soapbox now.>]
