Agree that Nuba by itself provides a deeper shine whereas soemitmes mixing sealant with nuba dulls the finish

The other thing I wonder about is, if you apply a sealant then there is a barrier between the paint and the environment. So when you apply a Carnauba you're applying it on the sealant and not on the paint. So how can it do its job?



What job would that be? The primary job of any sealant or carnauba is to act as a sacrificial barrier to protect the paint surface. Seems to me that a layer of carnauba over a sealant isn't going to prevent either product from doing that job.
