For the Meguiars G110 (not v2) which would be the best speeds for Polishing and then for Waxing? This past weekend I did 5 for polishing and 2 for waxing, but Im going to do my dads corvette soon and want to know which would be ideal?

Thanks

Speed 6 is fine? I was a little cautious because on the machine listing it doesnt list that speed even though its there

Whenever Im using a DA type machine. I always spreed the polish at speed 3 with no pressure. Then Ill bump it up to 5 or 6 with pressure. Then back down to 2 or 3. If you put it on at speed six the abraisves in the liquid won't be disbruted evenly. For waxing I prefer speed 2 or 3. Have a great day.

I like speeds around 4 for waxing myself. Not that it probably makes much of a diff....

Do you do that even with non-diminishing abrasive products? I never do any spreading with M105/M205/etc.

Who is the pro here? Just listen to me and things will be a lot easier for you.:har: Mr almost 30,000 posts! :boink: You think you would have learned something by. Typical old man stuck in the ways. Things have changed days. Ok jokes aside. Yes Sir I do it with non diminishin abrasives as well!

Barry Theal- heh heh, you just watch that know-it-all attitude there, Mr. Pro Moderator :nono:

Stuck in my ways...why..*you* are the guy still spreading product around like it's some paste compound from 3M

When it comes to M105, listening to you works out for me about...oh...maybe 75% of the time

Heh heh...sheesh I wonder what newbies think of us?!? :chuckle:

But yeah, seriously, I don't spread my M105 around as it seems to flash off too fast.

And yeah#2, if...Heaven Forbid!!...I did as much correction as you do I might very well change my tune.
