Polishing up a friends "new" toy *56k warning*

Nice to see some SHO love, here's my '95 after my first attempt with a PC--sorry for the blur. To the original poster--nice work!

I think its much more satisfying to do a job like that than to remove a few swirls from an almost perfect newish vehicle........Brilliant job well done.

Not surprised you had to go quite agreesive on the product, I have found white paint is really hard.......Its to do with the pigments I have been told.

Aren't bras known to do more damage than good? Nice work on the SHO.

The front bumper is in BAD shape... paint flaking off and such, so he is probably going to have it repsrayed.

Single stage white is very hard, due to the titanium dioxide pigment which gives it its color. Clearcoated white may be hard or soft, depending on the clearcoat's hardness.

Nice work and picture documentation.

Is this the 236hp, Yamaha engine version?

I have to say, I still see quite a few of these on the road. For their time, not a bad "Engine" at all. I am sure the engine out lived the chassis on these.

Jay Leno has a Festiva with the SHO enigine in the rear. :bow

Oh how I'd love to see Jay Leno's car collection.

Conan O'Brien has an SHO too I believe. I recall him taking his SHO to a Ferrari show or something, and parking it between a bunch of exotics. :lol
