How would I polish under the door handle for a Porsche? The new 991's (maybe all Porsche's?) have a small painted area under the handle. I've got a bunch of light scratches under there, and would like to polish it. It appears too small to get a pad in there, and is concave. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

FWIW, I lift the handle to "open" up the area under the handle and use a foam pad with polish and do it by hand. Use whatever polish you need to remove the scratches as best you can then finish with finer and finer polishes just as you would if using a polisher. (I have a black 997)

Either a hand applicator, MF towel, or Q-Tip is the ticket in those tight spots.

For under tight door handles I usually wrap a MF around my index finger, apply a bit of polish to the MF and rub where I want to polish. Since your fingertip is a small, concentrated area, it usually doesn't take much time to remove fingernail marks and clean it up nicely this way.

Yeah, it just takes time. Prior to the fast-cutting products of today, this sort of thing could take a whole afternoon.
