Polishing Pad after Wool effective enough?

There is no cure!
Got a car coming in this weekend. Its my great grandfathers work truck! He passed away some time ago, and pretty much has stayed in storage since. We will not be selling it (sentimental value) but plan on fixing it up and keeping it here around the house for whenever we have to move stuff.

The car is a 1999 White GMC ( Don't recollect the model). In direct sunlight the car has a million and one circular scratches.

At the moment I really don't have a cutting pad for my rotory. Only a wool, polishing and finishing pad. Haven't really had the need for something more aggresive until now. I plan on using OCP with a wool pad first in order to remove the deep scratches and smooth everything out. Then follow with some OCP and a polishing pad. Do you guys think the OCP/Polishing pad will be enough to remove holograms from the wool?

If youre using wool, there is a chance you might get away with using a black finishing pad. It depends alot on the compounds being used.

Good advice so far.
I've only had wool holograms once, but I'm not real quick. But on an agressive new black Mitsu Outlander, a foam pad took out all the scratch marks from the wool.
