Polishing Lexus Wood Grain Question

My father just picked up an 07 ES350, and its in great shape except for a couple of interior things. The one thats bothering him the most is that the wood grain on the center console has some scratches and marring from the previous owners. What can I use to clean it up? Some things online have said Pledge, which is nice and cheap (and readily available). Any tips?

The ES that I maintain has some scratches in the woodgrain as well. I havent found anything to remove them, but then again I havent really thrown a lot at it. I really doubt Pledge will do much as far as repairs go but maybe it contains fillers? Not sure. Im know others have their own tricks, but for me I hit those areas while Im doing the rest of the interior, then after everything is dressed, I go back with a plush mf towel and buff out the wood grain, chrome accents, etc. 3 extra minutes spent doing that alone will make a world of difference.

I just got done polishing the wood grain on my Mercedes. I used Menzerna PF 2500 with a microfiber cloth. I buffed the area until I got the results that I wanted. They were amazing. While it didn't get rid of all of the scratches, it did make the wood grain shine like new. While the pledge may fill in the scratches and show some level of shine, it won't last...Good Luck
