Polishing Lexan

I was at the Harley dealer the other day and noticed the windshields of the used bikes where horribly scratched. So much so it impaired vision. The businessman in me saw a good idea to make some money. The sales rep said that it's a problem they have with all used bikes and they just put up with it. I didn't tell him what I do because I want to make sure I know what to do before I offer. He said they were made out of Lexan. How would I go about removing the scratches from it? I'm thinking either Meg's PlastX or the Mirror Glaze plastic collection. I have used #84/83 on my headlights before I applied Xpel to them but they were a lot thicker plastic and I was able to push on it a lot more. Any ideas?
 
depending on how bad they are ... i personally have had much success with the Novus brand line. It does work with lexan because I use the stuff on anything and everything that is plastic around the house! you don't even really need to use a DA. Im thinking that if you did the results would be even better!

Nice! I've only got to go downstairs to my stash of stuff to get a bottle of PP. I like not having to spend any money on another product for once. BTW, is there anything PP won't do?
 
btw..you should have heard some of the conversations I had with Koop (our long lost moderator) about its uses...what really even amazed me was when he told me he was removing 1500 sanding marks:eek

Personally i like cleaning my kitchen cabinets with it as well as the kids furniture after they write all over in crayon...
 
It polishes paint, chrome, lexan, fine silverwear, whitens teeth, gets out tough stains, cuts, chops, slices, dices, cooks a 10lb turkey in 5 min, cleans up in the dishwasher, gets you out of debt, and is excellent for male enhancement. Yours for the low price of 4 easy payments of $3.75.

I know this is a old one, but I know how to use the search.;) I don't have any PP, but I do have PPwC or SSR1 will one of those cut it? I don't really want to add another product to my shelf if I can get by without it. Also Its not for a windshield I have a lexan bed cover on my truck. Thanks
 
Propolish is a chemical polish vs the SSR1 which is an abrasive polish.
I'm not 100% sure if PwC is and abrasive or chemical based polish.
From the 2 choices that you gave is would use the PwC...but Propolish IS the way to go :10:
