Polishes reaction to polisher...

I was wondering say for a SSR, a Menzerna Polish or any for that matter produce the same shine when they are both worked in. Meaning that by what a rotary would take 1 min to do and PC five min would they both produce the same shine based on the polish and not the amount of CC buffed off? I know that the PC wont make the surface as swirl-free, but will the gloss level produced be the same when the abrasives have broken down.

Sounds jumbled, but say you have the car swirl free and you use Menzerna PO-85rd via PC or rotary, will the shine/gloss be different?

I'm going to say that both of the finishes are going to look the same to the naked eye. They both are going to be swirl free so why whouldn't they be? Even if there were still swirls left (and on almost all cars there will be) it'll still be hard to tell the difference. Well I have no reasoning except for all of the cars I have done, different polishes and polishers they all looked similar. The biggest difference, I think, would be the LSPs.
