Polishes going bad?

I left for vacation last Saturday. I returned this past Saturday, and today (Tuesday) I discovered that my bottle of SSR1 was open (Spout flipped up). Is it ruined now? Or is it still good?
 
What are the guidelines on product (polish/sealant/wax... etc) storage and shelf life? Right now I only have my gear in an unfinished garage -- hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Is the garage okay, or do you guys keep some products indoors? Would indoor storage extend product life?

Just close it up and give it a good shake. I think that you should be alright. The worst circumstances is that the product dried up a little bit (nothing major IMO) and may dust a little in the future but I doubt it.

As for the guidelines... Just don't let them freeze or get too hot. A garage or basement will be fine. As long as they don't freeze you should have it last long enough to use the bottle up.
