This is a question in regards to this thread ( http://www.autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15541 ) about rotary buffing, which had this link to a thread on rotary buffing over at MBworld. ( http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=17340&perpage=10&pagenumber=2 )
He suggests only using compound, which contain clay as the abrasive. WHY?
I'm currently using Pro's Creamy Cutter, which has Diamonite in it, which contains Al Oxide. Does anyone know why it is bad to use this with a rotary? I've never heard that before.
Also, anyone know a place that sells the 6" pads he mentioned for rotarys?
