polished metal with maybe clear coat ?

have these rims that have scrapes and scratches want to make them new again what is best way to go about or what to use
 
Viper wheels? Yes, they are clear coated, go at it just as if it were paint. You can know for certain by using some paint polish on a microfiber, and work that in on a small spot. If it turns black then its bare metal, otherwise its clear coated.
 
yeah they are viper they have been through a lot of abuse they seam to have groves but there does not seam to be any flaking as the surface to be broken mabe they are just soft metal so some sonax should do them well
