Polish Clumps with Rotary

I've just started experimenting with the Rotary and I've run into the same issue a couple of times now. :buffing:



This is using a new White CCS pad very lightly misted with water and about 4 dime sized dots of PO23. After a few pass at 600, then a few more passes at 900-1200 (at least 10 passes overall), I start to get clumping of the polish on the paint as go over it. They look like

and they're harder to wipe off than the rest of the polish.

Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? Also, can you tell if the polish has completely broken down yet?



I tried the same setup with the G110 and even after polishing twice as long, I didn't have the same problem.

I'm would be surprised if it was getting that hot. I didn't go above 1200 and was moving it at a decent pace. The panel didn't even feel that warm. Would the warmth cause the clumping as well?
 
I *think* it might have to do with misting your pad with water. Menzerna polishes are parafin (wax) based. Wax doesn't play well with water. Try priming your pad with polish instead of water and give it a go.
 
I use LC CCS Pads, the white does this to me everyone now and again. You need to clean the pad after every panel basically. Not sure why its like that but it just needs a a lot more cleaning than you would think
