Polish break down stages pt.II with polish haze

OK so I got the camera out again and decided to document Menzernz IP breaking down in follow up to this post and show up close what hazing/micro marring (the stuff you can only see under direct light) looks like after you use an aggressive polish or you don't break down the polish enough:

Here is before:

During stages: (I didn't work the IP in as much as I should have to show what micro marring/hazing is)

After: you can see a little bit of hazing around the lights from this distance.

Great information and pictures. This should really help anyone looking for a way to use the PC. On a side note, I use one bead of product on the pad and it doesn't seem like i use as much product. It may be the lighting on the panel or something, but do you go through a lot of product? When I use the SSR2.5 I can barely see it after I spread it. One other thing is the swirls in picture 1 are the ones that I have the hardest time removing. Menzerna does a good job for me, but stubborn to remove, in my view. Anyways thanks for the indepth reports, very helpful!

Thanks! and no I don't go through that much product. SSR breaksdown pretty fast and with the amount I use I'm able to work it a bit longer to remove some deeper swirls/scratches.

Thanks for bringing this up, this is a guideline and definitely not the only way...this amount and procedure is what works best for me. It's to help show what a polish needs to do (with a PC) in order for it to work properly.

When using Menzerna, do you mist your pad with water or QD? If so I have the same problem with it being stubborn to remove. I now use a dry pad and never have any trouble removing the residue.

When I first started using it, I did but the last few times I didn't and still was a little rough. Well on the spots where I worked it in a lot it was better, but on the spots where there is a lot of extra polish it was even worse to remove. Lately I have been all SSR's and left the Menzerna in the back, maybe I'll bring it back out...
