I don't remember the shipping being that bad, but it was a couple of years ago and I ordered a bunch of bottles and sprayers so I might not have paid too much attention. I'd also order some 2 and/or 4 ounce bottles to use for swaps and samples. I find the 2 and 4's to be just about the right size for personal use....... 4 ounces of product usually goes a lot further than you might think...... plus they are easy to refill when needed.

would u suggest 4's insted of 8's for personal use, if i order less then 10 i can get 6 for shipping but if i get 15 like i want for a few extras its 10 for shipping thats the differance between ups and usps. i just sent them another email they didnt answer my first one lol

I just use the 2 and 4 ounce sizes..... they hold enough for me and it makes it easy to tote them around. If I could only buy one size I'd get the 4 ounce size. You might want to try a couple of their fine mist sprayers for the size bottle you order....... I really like using those for QD's and such. When I go to a car show I can toss a few of the small bottles in a Ziploc bag and I'm all set.

do you use the flip tops or the glue tops i think they will let to much out, for some stuff thats really watery like trim restorer and exp

i tryed that and nothing i think im gunna gunna order them online :( oh well cant decide 4 or 8 oz lol......
Order some of both..... they're only 35 and 40 cents each. Remember that the 2 and 4 ounce sizes will be small enough to slip into a pocket which can come in handy. Sometimes you've got to bite the bullet and pay more for shipping than you'd like to get the items you want. If you found them in a craft store you'd be paying more per bottle so it kind of all washes out in the end (I have found some at a Michaels Craft store before) .

Detailers Paradise sells some pretty nice 2 ounce bottles, they cost more, but they are very high quality.

I have also found some 3 ounce bottles at Wal-Mart priced at about 4 for $1.50. They are made to put shampoo and stuff in when you travel, so they are where the travel sizes of toothpaste, shampoo, etc. are located. Since I use about 1 1/2 ounce of QEW, ONR, or other car wash soap that 3 ounce size works well..... I just squirt in half of the little bottle.

Do you guys have prblems with the bottles colapsing if there non pvc bottles?
I haven't had problems with any of the HDPE bottles that I use from Specialty Bottle. Most all of the bottles I've picked up (Specialty Bottle, Detailers Paradise, Michaels, Wal-Mart, etc.) seem to be made out of the same stuff.

I really don't pay that much attention to them, I just ordered a bunch, saw that they looked/worked good, and started using them.

You don't have a sally beauty supply? You can find these bottles here (there are other bottles I found at a nail beauty supply store) but can't find a picture of them.

My concern: In regard to the 2 and 4 oz flip top type bottles. Is the hole large enough to allow "Polishing compound" to come out without a problem? Klasse AIO and SG would be a concern also.

I don't know how thick these products are, therefore the question.

Changeling

I get mine at Wal Mart in the Health&Beauty section. Where the travel sizes are located. Spray bottles and all there.

They come in a 4pack with 2 flip tops, a pump, and a screw on bottles. All for 1.55.

Here a flip....

On my 4 oz bottles the hole is right at 1/8" (I checked it with a drill bit) and the 2 oz bottle has a little smaller hole. While the 2 oz hole is smaller at about 5/64", it is still larger than the one in my first generation Optimum polish bottle (which IMO is too small).

AIO and SG would be no problem at all.... they are pretty thin to start with. I haven't used these for compounds yet (I don't buy it by the gallon ;) ), but the 4 oz and larger bottles should be fine.

Good find Justin, they don't have those at our Wal-Mart yet, I was just checking the other night. I have gotten a 4 pack of the 3 oz bottles there before.
