This is an existing client from last summer. Last summer I coated his vehicle with csl but put essence underneath it. Since I have noticed my holy sheet hood fail, I made a business decision to call the two remaining clients who still own their csl Hellcats and offered a recall on the coating at my cost. One lives 300 miles away so he probably won`t be able to drop off but the other was dropped off Sunday.
Since I run my business the way I see fit, I felt I owed these clients two years of coating in addition to the one year their csl most likely met it`s demise so I offered them the best I have, free of charge.
I didn`t even bother checking the coating. I just pulled a clean car in and did quick wipedown with spray and wipe and clayed it. It was definitely in need of mechanical decon.
Polished with pa invincible primer on urofiber
coated with pa cosmic v2. standard two layers and cosmic spritz to assist in curing
wiped down bay with pa engine
wheels- flake rw (leftover from past weekend) + supersport
glass- pb pws + pa diver
exhaust- flake rw + supersport
probably forgot something
I battled with topping this but wanted to prove to myself that I could resist. It was tough not to high gloss, zirkon or orange amber it but I think I know a black Mopar that will happily accept some high gloss soon
.
Vehicle was a little marred, nothing major but more than I was expecting. It all came off with pa primer except for some deeper rids that were not there last year when it left my garage with under 1000 miles. ( it has 11k miles now)
engine bay. he has added a nice legmaker intake
a few garage shots after the 1st layer of cosmicv2 was removed
after 2nd layer removed:
cured the next am ~8am
Now the sun shots at 3pm as since the season has changed I have to go to my fall sun shot schedule based off the position of the sun falling over my house and not hiding behind trees around my home and neighbors, robbing me of nice shots...I know, tough life.
There are probably going to be too many pics posted but I didn`t get the proper time to photo the last mango hellcat so I might have taken some liberties here.
but first, I`ll drop my videos....
so youtube has recently started a trend of not uploading my vids in hd and for some reason my browser will not let me scroll down on youtube only and change the vid quality so make sure these are in HD
after first layer removed
cured cosmic in the am
TURN YOUR VOLUME UP to hear the sweet harmony of a cold idling red key Hellcat
oh the symphony... if you listen closely you can here it saying "shine shine shine shine shine shine shine" hahahah
