I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on what to use on my 2003 Nissan 350 Z.It is the Brickyard color.Everyone seems to be hooked on Zaino.I would like to try something different.I would also be applying everything by hand.I am after the deep, wet look. Thanks for the info.John

I like the 3M products but I hear that the platinum are killer, oh and killer car Ilooked at them at the dealer .

A question like yours is understandable. I imagine that your excited about the new car. The only thing about the replies your goimng to get is that you will get a different opinion from everyone. lol It seems that the preferences and opinions of each person on this forum can vary greatly and that half the fun of coming here.

What type of product do you prefer? I look at polishes and waxes in two general catagories most of the time, wet looking carnaubas which in my opinion look the best, and then the longer lasting, more durable synthetics.

I suppose that you cant ever go wrong with a quality synthetic like UPP or Klasse. I think that the UPP sold on this sites store happens to be the best looking sealant I have tried. It has a deeper and darker look on the paint compared to the other sealants I have used.

If you want to go the carnauba route I personally prefer One Grand Blitz wax on top of a hand applied coat of 3M hand glaze. I like this on darker colors the best. The Blitz goes on so easily and wipes off even easier and looks awesome. I love the stuff! :D

Ive never tried it but Anthony and a few other guys claim the TOL Trade Secret is really nice on darker colors and I believe Anthony when he says this. I havent tried a carnauba I like more than Blitz BUT I will probably give the Trade Secret a try myself soon to see how it goes.

Im interested in what you decide to do. Please keep posting with the results of whatever you do. :)

Best regards,
John

If you aren't confused enough, here's a couple more suggestions.
Klasse AIO followed by Platinum UPP if you prefer a sealant.
Klasse AIO followed by S100 paste wax if you prefer a carnauba wax.
All three products apply and remove by hand so easily you will find it hard to believe. No white stains on trim. either.
