For anyone who's a Dish Network customer (I think you have to have service to get this deal), through this week you can buy a Pocketdish AV402E for $149 and get a $50 rebate, so $99 net. That's for a device that has a 20 gig HD, can play videos and pics, and could serve as an external USB HD for your computer. They have good deals on their more expensive units too, but this one really stands out to me. I was thinking of getting an iPod and while this thing is definitely bigger (like 6 oz), it offers enough more that I'm pretty sure I'm going to go for it, and I don't even have a Dish DVR to directly download the movies to it. I can still transfer movies from a computer. Oh yeah, it lets you play games. This thing is actually a re-branded Archos Gmini402, but with a chip that allows high-speed transfers from a Dish DVR. You should be able to find info about it at http://www.pocketdish.com
