I have the following polishing products:
PC with 6.5" LC backing plate
white, orange, and red LC CCS pads from CMA
Menzerna IP
Menzerna FTG
Zaino ZPC
2 500W Halogens (this qualifies as a polishing tool
I just placed an order for some PO85RD.
A few months ago, I polished my car (dark blue Lexus, sot paint) with an orange pad and ZPC to remove the light swirls from the free dealer car washes. I didn't have my lights and my feet were really bothering me so I only did one pass per panel. Although I should have, I didn't follow with a final pass with ZPC and a white pad. The only polish I had was ZPC; I didn't get the menzerna products until later.
Well, there is some minor spiderwebbing left that I want to get rid of. I thought I'd get the PO85RD instead of the PO106FF because after reading posts here, it seemed like the 85RD was the better choice. Now I'm not so sure because some claim that 85RD has no correction capabilities.
So, if all I want to do is remove minor marring and spiderwebbing, will the 85RD be aggressive enough or should I cancel that order and get some 106FF instead? If I should go the 106FF route then I'll probably get the Blackfire equivalent.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
