Do you fellas think Menz PO106FF is safe to use on my windscreen.
Its a new screen, fitted 3-4 weeks ago, but its got some very stubborn water spot marking.
No matter how much I clean it, or indeed how clean it looks, in the wake of a windscreen wiper pass, you can see masses of water spot marks and general crud ingrained on the surface.
I've tried (with liberal amounts of elbow-grease) my much loved Stoners glass cleaner, AG galss polish, DP glass polish, APC, scratch-x, all to no avail.
So I got the Menz PO106FF out and using it by hand, it seemed to shift a fair bit.
This leads me to two questions:-
1. Is it safe or is it a bad idea to use PO106FF on glass by PC? Was considering using a blue SFX pad with minimal pressure and only minmal passes.
2. As a treatment on the glass after, I was gonna try either Halfords equivalent of RainX or the Audi version of Aquapel I've been too scared to use as yet! However, I'm sure I recall folk here using waxes andor sealants on windscreens to make water bead and run off but without leaving wiper-streak. Does anyboody have any such recommendations please?
