I am sure this is not even significant to others, but I have noticed that many people continually seem to misspell brand names and products. While I'm sure most people can figure out what is actually meant, it may be misleading to anyone that is new to the detailing world, not to mention it is just inaccurate.



Foremost, Meguiar's -- I have seen this spelled in so many whacky ways: Mequires, McGwires, Mequiars, McGuires...



Then some others:



Pinnacle Souveran -- Sovereign, Souvran, Sovran, etc...





So yeah, just putting the word out there.. Doubt this thread will get many views anyway...

Wow, where did this come from? I did not make this thread to target anyone specifically.



I've seen Meguiar's spelled incorrectly for as long as I remember, so I figure why not at least let people know that there isn't a Q in it and that there is a -'s at the end...



If your name was Robert, would you want people to refer to you as Rawburt or Rahbirt? :)
 
Personally, as a newbie here, I agree with truzoom. The first piece of advice given is usually "do a search", and the variations of spelling sometimes make that difficult. That, and the fact that some of the decoder ring phrases are too short to be searched for. ( iw, #9, etc. ) Oh well, guess I just have to read them all!
