Hmmm, I'm not sure what to think or where to start.
Our facility isn't in a flood zone. It always floods on a main road close by but never in our area.... until today.
It just kept raining and raining and raining..... and the water from the street that usually floods became a quickly expanding lake....
I got nervous when we had to start moving pallets of material to higher areas... it came up into and parking lot... starting approaching our front door and within 20 minutes had 8-12 inches of water in our showroom and all throughout our offices and mixing department.
Thank God for insurance! Fortunately we have inventory high and dry.... a mechanic across the street even helped put Rick's 1966 Impala up on floor jacks!
Oh well.... when I left Rick was still there but there was nothing left to do but wait till the water goes down and start the clean up and repair process.
Orders will be delayed a bit.... instead of shipped in one to two days I think I will need seven days to ship.
Look at Sarasota, Florida on the weather channel and you will see what is going on today... we are about 60 miles south of Tampa Bay on the Gulf Of Mexico.
Take care guys
