Hi guys,

I have a silver metallic car and I'd like to know (based on your experience and background) what would be best for the final step of the detailing. A wax or a sealant? Which one and why?

Preferably, I am looking to use either or not both on top of each other.

I am thinking sealants are more durable but are they easy to apply? On the other hand, I have the feeling a wax is easier to apply but does it really last?

It's nice to see water beading after you're done detailing, but what about a week, a month or 3 months later?

Finally, which one would make the color look best?

Thanks!

Both are durable and easy to apply when used properly.

My favorite sealants:

Poorboys EX-P

NXT 2

Favorite Waxe:

Poorboys Nattys Blue

Any of these will give you decent durability and good looks on a mettalic paint.
