Please clear this Menzerna confusion

Are you absolutely sure it is SIP relabeled? Used it once and didn't like the feel to the product.

The following is from the Blackfire Scratch Resistant Compound web page:

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Remove deeper swirls, spots & defects in the new scratch-resistant clear coats.

This is a companion product to BLACKFIRE S.R.C. Finishing Polish designed to remove deeper (1500 - 2000 grit) swirls, scratches and defects in ceramic particle and scratch-resistant clear coats. Like S.R.C. Finishing Polish, BLACKFIRE Scratch Resistant Clear, Compound is manufactured in Germany by Menzerna, exclusively for BLACKFIRE. It is an adaptation of the same compound used at the OEM level by German and domestic automakers. Like S.R.C. Finishing Polish, S.R.C. Compound contains additional lubricating oils to allow the enthusiast to "work" the compound longer without fear of excessive compounding haze

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Edit: it was well known that the "same compound used at the OEM level by German and domestic automakers" was the first scratch resistant coating polishes made by Menzerna: SIP 3.01, and PO106FF. Also, in a Live Chat session I had with someone from Proper Auto Care, they told me that Blackfire Scratch Resistant Compound was SIP 3.01 with added lubricants. That is almost word for word what they state on their web site.

This horse has been beaten to death: IMHO, BSRC IS SIP 3.01 with added lubricants. Please feel free to speculate amongst yourselves, but I'm done with the subject.... the search button really is your best friend. :)

I have not used either of the BF compound or the finish polish, but have used IP quite a bit. SIP po83 (aka 3.01) and 3.02 are the easier and best polishes by Menzerna. IP does cut good, but does dust and will marr some finishes and will require a finish polish. SIP cuts very good, does not marr when used correctly, and will leave an excellent finish. SIP is one of the only polishes I have used that will remove defects, mild scratches, holograms, haze, etc., while leaving a very close to flawless finish when used correctly. I can even use SIP on my wholesale used cars with an orange pad while leaving a swirl free finish.

Isn't 3.02 3.01 with added lubricants? If so, isn't 3.02 Blackfire SRC?

3.02 is and upgraded version of RD3.01.

The upgrade is more powder for faster cutting action, this is what Menzerna in Germany told me.

I do know a few people in the UK that have both Menzerna and BF and they choose Menzerna over BF. These guys are pros and demand top quality and this is where I learned my info last year. I asked all them last year and they all swore up and down Menzerna was the king.
