I've done plenty (plenty) of reading threads here for a long time now and had several 'tips' from members - thanks.



Am now at the point where I need some specific answers.



I've decided to leave the pc out of the equation for a while - am a little worried about plastic and heat.



Am looking for a deep wet shine for my ickle SpeedSilver Smart Brabus Roadster Coupe.



Currently I do the following



Meguiars Gold class car wash with mit

Meguiars Quik Clay/Quik detailer (sometimes)

Meguiars Gold class clear coat liquid car wax

RimWax by smartwax

Drying, polishing, buffing with assorted MF clothes



Quik detailer in between



Decent results but not that little bit extra I'm looking for.



I've learnt that you need different product for car colours, I guess I'm asking for specific product to hand seal and wax to a deep wet shine - any suggestions?

yes p21s is nice poorboys natty paste is also another winner.



It all depends on what look you are going for a wax or sleant look? IMO for a carnuba nothing beats pinnacle souveran but it is 80 a tin. Also your final polish has a lot ot do with finish, if you have any imprefections that will dampen the shine.



For a sealant you can go with klasse SG,Zaino or FMJ.

I haven't used P21S, I only know it has a pretty good reputation around here. If you're ordering VM, you might think about just picking up some CMW at the same time, it's sure to be perfectly compatible and it's a quality product.

1 x ClearKote Yellow Moose Cream Wax

1 x ClearKote Carnauba Moose Wax

2 x Poorboy's Mega-Mega Plush Micro-Fibre Towel XL Triple Pack

2 x ClearKote Micro-Fibre Applicator Block

1 x Poorboy’s Waffle Weave Drying Towel



I'll be starting off with



Meguiars Gold class car wash with mit

Meguiars Quik Clay/Quik detailer



and keeping a bottle of Quik detailer in the car ;)



btw, is it true you shouldn't use rain-X on plastic? my rear side windows are plastic and don't want to melt them!
 
I wouldn't use RainX for anything, but that's just my personal opinion. I've used it in the past, but I prefer other products so much more now that I'll never bother with it again. If you have any kind of AIO product, give that a shot. It should bead well and last longer than RainX. I recently put FK1 215 on my headlights.

BTW, if you're ordering direct from Clearkote, consider getting their Pink Moose combo. It comes with full bottles of VM and RMG and an empty bottle to mix it in. It's $6.95 less that if they're purchased seperately.
