Planning on getting rotary buffer...

yea, same thing as a pc. get a pc dude. a pc is by no means as strong or dangerous as a rotory, but a lot better than the craftsman orbitals u can find at sears. trust me if u're gonna get that from megs, get the pc. same friggin tool, just re-badged

If all you have plans for are doing yours and a few friends cars. Go with the PC. http://www.autogeek.net/hk7424.html Theres everything you need to get started with. Of course you'll need to get polishes, waxes, etc.

Seein that the only experince you have is with a orbital, You don't need a rotary. Get some experince with the pc, learn how different compounds and polishes react, Learn the differnece between clearcoat and single stage paint jobs. Then if you think your ready, then step up to a rotary.

read and searcg for info on how to properly use a pc. its not hard and by the first vehicle u use u'll be glad u have one. by the 5th ull have the technique down good enough to wanna redo u're car all the time.

Dont get a rotary dude, get a pc and an orange power pad, and 2 polishing pads, 1 finishing pad. Or a pad kit, you prolly need some MF too.
