In honor of pithcers and catchers reporting soon, here's a little game to see if you have the reaction time it takes to hit a fastball...

Most of mine were between .3 and .4, I got a couple below .3 but not good enough for anything but a strike. I got one .2404 (base hit!) and one .1070 (home run!), but I got lucky on the HR. I'm well below the Mendoza line, I'm afraid. But that's par for a 50 year old guy with neurological impairment I think!

Seems like something under about .25 is good for a base hit and under about .2 is a HR. Got some base hits, but then I left my finger resting on the mouse button, and that lessened my response time enough for a few HR's! My fastest time was .16.
 
consistently between .17 and .22 - but ( relatively speaking ) fastballs are easier to hit, its when they throw you that nasty 80mph slider that it messes up your timing....



I used to play baseball but HR's were a definite rarity so I kinda wish it was more like that game!! :p Being a little fella ( 5'6" ) I was only ever good for the single, double or many walks with my fairly tight strike-zone :)
