Pinnacle Wash Dilution...

Quick question guys...



On the instructions for the Pinnacle wash, it says 1/2 oz for a full bucket. Is there a standard size for a bucket that I don't know about???



That seems like a very mild dilution. Most car washes are 1oz per gallon. But maybe pinnacle stuff is "ultra concentrated"...???

1 TBS per 2 gallons of water. I go lite on the shampoo. Try 1oz with 2 gallons and see how you like.



The Pinnacle shampoo is suspect of removing wax. I think it just leaves a residue on the surface that has a "squeaky" clean feeling.

I agree it leaves it squeeky clean, but I don't think it would strip wax more so than other washes. I've been rotation between Pinnacle and Griots and sometimes Sonax... out of the three, I like Pinnacle the best.

that's good to hear. There has been much debate over the Pinnacle wash. I bought 1/2 a gallon and the guys were making me real paranoid with the wax stripping theory. I don't believe it to be true but I do agree that the surface feels (and sounds) like there is a lot of drag compared to other soaps.



I suspect the Pinnacle is leaving something on the surface. The shine and gloss sure haven't been diminished at all.



FWIW, I typically run 25% to 50% of the recommended shampoo dosage, regardless of brand. That will minimize any damage being done by the shampoo. I find this is more than enough soap to get the job done.
