pinnacle souveran

Accumulator,

Yeah I know your right, I'm just avoiding the inevitable.:o Actually Meguiars is hosting an event for Mercedes Club next week and I know Mike has some sitting on the shelf. I'll have to raid his cabinet and try it on my hood. If it's as good as everyone says (including Mike) then you can bet an order will be placed in short order.:)

You also mention that there is a noticeable difference, can you explain in detail what it is your seeing. I understand that it's a matter of opinion and what you may see doesn't necessarily mean I'll see it but I still value your opinion.

IMHO the best way to do product comparisons is a side by side test on the same panels. You're guaranteed to have the same lighting conditions, same surface conditions and same environmental conditions. You can look at each section critically and decide what looks best in your mind. Sorry to go off topic.

MBZ 500E,

I traded in my '99 jet black 740iL for a couple of reasons. First of all, the new (2002 and after) 7 series looks silly to me. It does not have that classic Bimmer attitude. Knowing that 2001 was the last year they had the great design for the 7 series, I had to get one. Secondly, right after I got my '99 7, I received a copy of the BMW films. In the film that shows off the 7 series the car they used is a titanium silver with gray leather 2001 740i Sport - as soon as I saw that short film I said to myself that if I ever get another 7 series that I was going to get that very same car and I got it! I also found a very clean car that was also Certified Pre-Owned when I bought it. Thirdly, to keep black up in the condition that I kept my previous 7 in takes time - alot of time.

Regarding Souveran, I have not tried it on my titanium paint. So far I have used PUPP, P21S, Pinnacle Signature Wax and NXT. I really like NXT but I mat try topping it with P21S or Pinnacle Signature Wax. To me, lighter colors do well with a more reflective wax like P21S. If I do try some Souveran as a topper on top of NXT, I will post pics.

Cheers,

I'm gonna jump in on this to say that I've ALWAYS noticed SOME difference between Souveran and other "good" last step products on my cars with white, silver, and gray paints. My wife notices it too, right away ("did you use something different on the [whatever]").

You know what is funny? First time I used S100 SEC and S100 Paste Wax on my car, I asked my younger son (13 at the time) what he thought and he shrugged and said "It looks like it did with Souveran."

:lol

If you are getting Souveran I would also get a bottle of Crystal Mist. After every or every other wash spray some on and it will make the car look like it was just waxed :up :bow

I was smart about it all;and recieved PC from santa,so the price was right;but like all you guys out there,I tried just about every wax made, and still have most of them on the shelve, and by far the BESt and EASIEST hands down is PINNACLE SOUVERAN.I own a BLACK vette and the shine is incredable. You do have to wax it a bit more, but so what? the results are A+

well im gonna plan on getting some should i get the liquid or the paste wax, BTW my car is red 02 TA

I went for the paste wax (tried the liquid and is not quite as good IMO). For a lower cost alternative, you can also try the Pinnacle Signature Series paste. I believe it is $25

Just to name a few-P21S-S100PASTE-ZYMOL-MEGUIARS#26and GOLD CLASS-MOTHERS etc;its almost silly, but cleanin the cars is somewhat of a hobby,so through the years i;ve compiled quite a butch, and the sad thing,is some of them I;ve only used once or twice,Crazy man!!!! HOW BOUT THEM GIANTS!!!
