Pinnacle Souveran vs. Nattys Blue

I have been using souveran for a while and recently got Nattys Blue.



Souveran is deeper looking the the Nattys is more glossy and very very wet.



For the difference in cost there Nattys is bang on , I still overall prefer the look of the Souveran or a coat off Nattys Blue over Souveran!

I think they're pretty damn close. Souveran is a bit warmer, Natty's is wetter. Natty's durability is better too. For the price difference, I'd go with Natty's blue any day of the week.

I get better than expected durability out of Souveran (about 3 months) but the 'look' and slickness don't last as long as Natty's. Souveran's killer look is good for 4-6 weeks, Natty's looks better after that.
 
I've recently compared a layer of 845 with Natty's Blue (both on top of a layer of Natty's Blue) and I honestly couldn't see much of a difference. :hide: Any difference was so marginal that I couldn't tell if it was merely psychological because I knew which was which or it was because of what qwas being reflected in the paintwork. Both were dripping wet in my eyes, but the 845 had the advantage of being easier to apply and remove and felt more slippery (slicker?) to the touch.

servo: Im sure the 845 will be a lot more durable too. I've seen this topic (souveran vs. x) all the time. Usually it comes down to proper prep. If your paint is in great condition then i'm sure almost any wax/sealant will look good. Even though I know this philosophy, I still try different products on cars I detail, I guess its what makes it fun :o .

My black RSX looked really good with UPP on it but i'm probably going to order some TS just for psychological reasons :D
 
Is it just me or do you all find Souveran easier to work with? I find it easy to apply and easier to remove then Nattys. Maybe im doing something wrong. Chris
 
Men PO85RD, duragloss 601 bonding agent, WG sealant, cure 24, dura 601, WG sealant cure......Now soon as I get to it PS topper, Natty's blue topper, looks good now and will look even better soon. PREP is the key!!

I applied Nattys Blue and the Souveran both using the wipe on wipe off method. Souveran is the easyist wax in the world when used like this, Natty's didnt wipe off quite as easily, but by no means hard work.
 
I find them about the same to apply and remove...maybe souveran is a little easier...but not notably....and it's a big plus that natty's is still very easy to work when in sunlight

Pinnacle wax is very easy to use. Put it on vertically/horizontally and don't wait to dry and wipe off in a circular motion. Excellent results. Saves alot of time in waxing and more time drinking beers and looking at yourself in the shine you just created. I haven't tried Natty's yet but very happy with Pinnacle, makes my car luster more than anything else I ever tried. My car is Midnight blue.
