Pinnacle Souveran Arrives!

My order of Pinnacle Souveran arrived today and I will put on the first coat on my 03 Ann Edition vette[metallic marron]. I have seven coats of Zaino on it now but I have heard great things about Souveran and wanted to try it. If I like it better then Zaino I will be selling all my Zaino supplies!
 
Good luck, you should really like the Souveran paste. Will you be removing the Zaino (don't want to assume), and if so, what are your plans for surface prep prior to Souveran?

I have been told that I can put Souveran directly over the Zaino with no prep .
 
What she was asking is if you planned to remove the Zaino before using the Souveran and if so, what are you going to do after you remove the Zaino and before the Souveran.



To be fair to the Souveran and the Zaino you really should apply it without any Zaino. The look you are going to get by applying it over Z will be different than just by itself. If you like the way it looks over Zaino and then promptly sell all your Z then you are likely to be disappointed when you apply it all by itself because it doesn't have the advantage of seven coats of Z beneath it. Make sense?

Gottcha! I will remove Zaino from half of my hood and then apply Souveran and compare the results!

Okay I did it! I couldn't tell a lot of difference at first but the Souveran does allow the depth of the color to stand out! Zaino is still a very good product but with my metallic maroon color the Souveran does look better to my eyes! A little wetter and as I said a little more depth. I am satisfied enough that I am going to sell my Zaino supplies! Thanks for your suggestions!:up

I also really like Pinnacle Crystal Mist for a QD. It really brings back that deep, wet, liquid shine in between washings. :D
