Ya know when I melted my 70/30 blend of #16 and P21S, I just smashed the wax up in the #16 can and heated the can from the bottom with a torch and then let it melt and put it in the frige. Whole process took like 5min.

Did it yield a combined product that worked better than they did separately like Scottwax's magic brew?

The blend is noticably wetter looking than straight #16. I even did blind tests with my son and a couple of customers and they all picked the PW/16 side as the wettest looking.

So far, durability seems on par with straight #16.

I cant wait to try my tin!

My wife came home in the middle of us melting waxes on her cooking stove but she didn't get upset, I figured she was waiting for Diesel to go home to let me have it but nope she didnt say anything other that it smells in here now

You got yourself a good woman attic, my girl would not have been mad but she deff would have been wondering if i had lost it.

you guys are nuts! I love it!

Let me know how it works. I am sure the durability is good!

I would love to mix 1000p with something. You guys got me thinking. My girl would flip out if I did that in our kitchen.

1000p alone is impressive maybe mixing it with something with more depth u can have the best of both worlds.

I have a sample of Carnauba moose wax I can top the 1000P with maybe on my hood

you will have to see my camry with a fresh coat of 1000P then maybe we can top 1/2 the hood

1000p is great stuff and I know it will last for a long time, but is on the very bright side. Maybe just mix it up with some pw or natty's blue.

I have not tried the moose wax yet! I have heard good things about it. I know of a couple of show car guys that use it and love it.

You mean Carnauba Moose, right? The regular Moose Wax is a decent one step but Carnauba Moose is loads wetter and deeper.

Isn't it a bit incestuous to force a Finish Kare product and a Meguiars product to mingle?

:p

Heh heh, that's the sort of thing *I* was thinking...guess it's an Autopian attempt at reconciling the Meguiar's siblings or taking advantage of the best that each side of the fence has to offer.

Didn't Floyd Mequiar of Finish Kare just pass away last year....I thought I read something about his passing and FK was bought up by another company that makes car refinishing products...I swear I read it some where...lol
