Pink Moose and EX-P+ on the 206

Spent most of the morning polishing the glass to try getting rid of the water spots I have had since I got the car.

Today I think I finally managed it with Clearkote's Compound Moose on a 4" cutting pad with pressure.

So then I had a lookie in my product box, and realised I havent tried the EX-P I got from Alex back in September.

Process was as follows:

Pink Moose (50/50 vm & rmg) green propel on all paint, glass and plastic

EX-P+ by mf applicator

Tyres have #38 topped with AG Vinyl and Rubber

Thanks for looking :thx

Glad to hear someone else is having good results with Clearkote Compound. Really seems to do well on the tough stuff without marring the finish.

So, what are your thoughts on Pink Moose?

Nice job.

Can you guys compare Clearkote's Compound Moose to other polishes? Wonder how aggresive it is.

Any pointers on applying and removing?

Clearkote's Compound seems pretty aggressive, similar to Poorboy's SSR3 but it finishes down pretty well. You have to make sure you use about half what you normally think you need (as it says in the directions) or the excess is hard to remove. Just work it until it clears and it leaves a pretty decent shine. It also seems to eat through heavy clearcoat overspray a lot faster than you can clay it off.
