pin stripe

i have pin stripe on my car and i want to take the swirls out using swirlx am i safe to use swirlx over the pin striping?

It depends on the stripe. If it is a hand painted stripe on top of the clear coat then it is probably not safe to polish over it.



My wife's car had a painted stripe on it which I wanted to remove. 90% was removed with M205 on a white pad with a PC. SIP removed the rest.



If you are attached to the stripe the I would recommend taping over it.
