pics of our new shop

ebpcivicsi- Hey, I'm late to this party...

Looks great, big step up from your previous place, huh?

*NOW* you have good lighting :xyxthumbs Heh heh, that might make some jobs a little tougher on you though ;)

Where're you located now?

Did you mix any friction media in the floor epoxy to keep it from being to slick when wet?

OH....*completely* off-topic but I'm afraid I'll forget: back when you did the GMC you gave me a shampoo sample to try, some pink stuff. Of course I just put it on the shelf :o

Do you happen to remember what it was?

I finally tried it on the S8's wheels/wheelwells the other day; I don't really have a verdict on it, but I'm still curious what it is. Smells like interesting/industrial at high concentrations through the air-powered sprayer, and makes for some interesting foam that way too.

Wow, excellent photos. You have good a looking logo too. Hah, check out all those vehicles already packed in there..even a Crown Vic. I am jealous of that shop 100%:wow:

Wow! That's very nice! This will seriously impress your customers and help you build your word-of-mouth business...

Great pictures too! It was nice to meet both at SEMA!

Joe Christian aka ebpcivicsi and his business partner Justin stop by Autogeek's booth to say hello!

All the best to you guys. It looks like you dropped a fortune in there. The lighting looks superb...that is key. No sense doing it half way....if the business is there , Why not. You guys are the bomb! The economy is that good there ah????

Thanks again everyone!

toyotasuvs, we used epoxymaster. We looked a lot and determined that 100% solid epoxy was the only thing that would hold up. I found that (imagine this) prep was the key to the install/durability. I guess we were overkill with prep, but hey, that's nothing new to everyone around here! :D This was also one of the few epoxy systems that did not need a clear coat to be hgh gloss--wanted that for added light.

Accumulator, yep, a little biger with a front door, street signage, etc. We are just next door to where we were previosuly--made the move easier. :D Being in the wolfchase area has really been nice for us. We could have *much* less overhead in other parts of town, but I don't think my customers would want to leave their vehicles there!

We did mix *a lot* of aluminum oxide in with the epoxy, and we were *extra* heavy in the wash bay. It is still slick in the washbay if you spill degreaser, car wash soap, etc, so you just have to be mindful of spills.

That soap is indeed some "industrial" stuff! We use it at strong diltuions to clean vehicles before details and mix it lighter for some of our regulars. We pay $227.00 for 55gal of it. :D I think a 5gal is like 32.50--just wondered what you thought of it--may work nice on your loaners! :D The foam that it makes through a foam cannon is crazy!

Thanks Mike, nice meeting you at SEMA! If I make it out next year we will have to hang out--saw some of the pictures of you guys partying! :D

As Joe pointed out earlier in this thread...

toyotaguy - that was just for storage, a few were done and needed to be picked up. We can work on five at the same time, but four is better(plus one being prepped in the wash bay with either scenario)....

With Joe's reputation, do you some of you guys really think he doesn't know that?? :think2
