GOT PREP?
These last few months have been really crazy for us—we have been working on this new space for about six months now and it’s finally ready. We have *a lot* of things to do, but I thought that some of you guys might like to see the progress. Our other location was great, but we quickly outgrew that space and washing outside was taking its toll on my guys.

This is where we start…

The space was previously used as a warehouse, so we had to install a drain with all of the necessary oil separators, etc. This was definitely a huge project and took quite a bit of time to complete.

A few looks at the space before:

Door was then installed—space only allowed one load door, no exit. Maybe next time…

Then the framing was started….this is the bathroom…

Here you can see the front glass/door installed:

Paint…

So after paint we were ready for the floor. I did *a lot* of research on this and decided that epoxy was the only way to go, then I had to find out what would stand up to our abuse/chemicals. I will let you know in a few years how it holds up….I got quotes as high as $11,000 to coat the floor, so we did our own research and did it ourselves. We diamond grinded the floor, acid etched it, then applied the epoxy.

Had the boom installed:

We wash here, we have a curtain on order, but who knew that it would take three weeks to produce it!

wow. incredible. looks like you guys are on a roll. Very clean setup and by doing a lot of the work yourself i'm sure you saved a bundle.

So my guess is you folks purchased the property or are you just leasing it?

Best of luck to you. That is a serious amount of manpower transforming the old warehouse to a proper detailing facility.

Looks great! Congrats!

Mind if I ask what the cost was for the oil separator and drain system?

WOW!!!!!! Looks awesome Joe! You must be very excited about it, especially having the wash bay in house now. Congrats and best of luck with the new place!

What an awesome place! I remember just a few years back when you were still doing this mobile, it's amazing how far you have come in such a short time.

I wish you the best of luck with the new place, but you probably won't need it. :D
