Pics of my shiny MINI - night shots

Incredible pics....it's as if I'm standing alone at that particular place looking at your car. The wide-angle vantage point also adds a "cavernous" type feel to the scene and makes it seem like you are alone in a beautiful place looking at a beautiful car.

BTW - Sweet wheels. They look like the r90s that Mini sells.

i'm sitting here just floored with all your comments. i had no idea these pics would be so well received!

handsomerob - thank you very much for your comment. being alone with the car is a great way to look at it. i never thought about it that way.

paco - your comments are very touching. i'd love to jump on a photography career but it's more fun to shoot stuff on the side it i think.

my day job is a technology consultant...i also design websites. i've always enjoyed photography.

yes, what is it about those blue palm trees? ;)

:bow I'm no professional, hafid, but like :shocked Those are gorgeous. Like some others, I was especially struck by the black-and-white one, and those blue palms. Beautiful composition.

Lynn, wonderful words, thank you.

Brad - I've seen your pictures before. I love the pepper white! Your garage would be a great place to shoot!

hafid: You have made quite an impression here for a newbie. I will be the next to sound like a broken record, but I can't help it. Your car and photography is amazing. The quality, angles, lighting, etc is just top notch. Have you taken photo classes? What kind of camera are you using? Settings?

How about some day pics for us image hungry viewers :D ?

Wonderful Pictures. They look like they came out of a magazine but even better. You my friend are gifted in the art of photography. More pictures please^ditto on the day shots.....

spetulla - the pics are all over phoenix/scottsdale :)

gsrstilez & vprdak - wow...your comments are truly welcomed. i have taken a couple of classes a few years back. i've been shooting on and off for about a decade...but i've never really shot cars in a beautiful surrounding before. night photography is new to me to be honest therefore for such results i'm truly pleased...however there's always room for improvement. :)

day shots you ask? don't have many...they were just more to get pics of parts...i'll be doing a day shoot soon in the mountains.

but here are a couple.

Dude, Please tell us your ugly and you can't hold a job otherwise I 'm going to feel extremely un-worthy. Talent and a good eye. Also dedication to detailing. I'm totally sure you could shoot a calendar and shoot for Road and Track.

I agree........... we're talking some "serious" talent here! I keep coming back to take another look!!!!!!!!!!

That pic with the blue plam trees belongs on a magazine cover or something!

*clears throat* *assumes serious Mod voice*:

Hafid, you must quit posting these pix here. You are making all your fellow Autopians feel unworthy. :bow

But really, I figured you just had a knack for night photography. Then I see these day shots. Man-o-man: that shot of the Mini roof with the sunset reflecting in the windows ... well, gotta go now and wipe the drool off my chin.

BTW, you just might want to print and frame BradB's comment. He doesn't hand out compliments like that very often.

Like 73GRAND said: Please tell us you're ugly, can't hold a job, barely make your car payments. ;) With photos like this, whatever job you have must be the Wrong Job. :up

wow....i'm litterally floored with your comments. honestly it's a bit shocking really and i'm truly humbled with your opinions.

interesting to note about Brad's comments....truly honored. :)

okay, i'll stop posting pix now :P :)

Rich - I actually grew up in London...make a trip back home every few years...I'm due for one this year...hmmmmm :)
