After the constant nagging from redcarguy ;) i finally cleaned up the garage enough to be half-presentable to the Autopian community.

Ok, so here we go. Moved into the house in January, and just now got all the stuff installed, put away, and organized. It was a long time coming but im pretty happy with the way it looks so far :D Pics are to follow.

the work area. Consists of two pretty well stocked Craftsmen toolboxes and a Lista workbench rated to 600lbs (Griots tested it to some 800  )

Our old garage had the standard 4ft 4bulb fixtures and we decided that it was too dark, so we went with three 2bulb 8ft High Output fixtures. Apparently one HO bulb puts out a tad more light than a standard 4/4ft fixture does. Im considering putting another fixture horizontally in front and back of the 2 car section for even more detailing light

left side has a Indy F1 flag and a Audi R8 poster. If anyone has a good memorabilia/decorations website, i still need to find a nice vette poster, a vette banner to hang from the garage, and something italian.

The old owners had a white decorative fan in the garage. I HATED the look, but appreciated the breeze....so i took it down and painted it red and gunmetal to match the wheels/brake calipers on my rx7 :p

Very nice.....:up

thanks for the compliment :) It'll be finished when i can get a Vette poster to go on the vette's garage wall, a vette banner for the garage door, and something italian...it dawned on me when i was hanging posters it was almost all german-themed. Once the rest of the decorations are taken care of and all the rest of the useless stuff on the floor is assigned a place in a cabinet i'll be satisfied :)

yup its racedeck. We had epoxy paint in the old garage and that worked really well, but we didnt wanna spend the time to lay it down in this garage...so we put down racedeck and its workin out pretty well so far :)

I'd give my right arm for a garage like that! Infact, that garage is nearly the size of my house! Houses are pretty small over here in the UK - and as for the size of our garages, the less said the better... I'd be scared to even attempt to drive my car into my garage, let alone try to open the door once I got in there!

Great garage! I'll just carry on dreaming! :D
