Pics of my '95 Explorer

I had a chance to do a little work on my '95 Explorer today. I picked up my first jar of S100 a few days ago and I was anxious to use it. Here are the steps I took:

1. Washed with Dawn.

2. Clayed

3. S100 2x

I wanted to do a coat of SMR and #7 before the S100, but I didn't have the time. Next week I will do that. I will also be getting my PC soon. :bounce

This truck has the typical not so great Ford paint, although I can get a pretty good shine out of it considering it's 8 years old. It sat out in the sun/rain/snow, or what have you for 2 years straight from 97-98. I have a little bit of a swirl problem, but I'm hoping I can clear that up when I get the PC.

Hartman,

Your Explorer looks great! :xyxthumbs

After you get your pc, a once over with SMR with a polishing pad will do wonders for the depth and the shine! If you have some scratches and or deep swirls, I have had great luck with DACP and a cutting pad on black paint. Then follow up with the SMR or GEPC/SEPC and then S100.

Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

My Black 7 Series
