Pics of a quick engine detail

I noticed that you both dried everything before spraying with CD2, but I thought the can says to apply to a wet engine? At least that is the way I've always interpreted the instructions. I wipe up any heavy pooled water and then spray everything while wet and it seems to work ok, but now I'm wondering if dry isn't better? By the way both engines look great!

Edit: Oh yeah, it works pretty good on wheel wells also.

It does work well there, but with the sometimes scarcity of it, I have use stoner's more shine less time. Works well also in the wheel wells :bigups

It actually says on the can to rinse and then mop up most of the water. If you leave pools of water, or even drops of water, then the engine detailer doesn't get to that spot and the piece looks, well... spotty. :D It is best to dry it as best you can before applying the CD2. I'm going to type up exactly what it says on the can in a minute. Apparently I have to do the dishes first. lol
