My friend Paul owns and runs a performance shop here (he's even gonna let us have a detail day in a few weeks at his shop.) The guy is a ASE certified mechanic who's also in a wheelchair. He's got only 1 arm/hand and 1 half leg and he still manages to work on cars. . .amazing guy and super nice to boot!

He helps me out with mechanical stuff on the car and I will detail his truck for him for nothing. . .

The car hadn't been washed in at least 4-5 months, not waxed in 6-12 months.

Gold Class wash

DACP via PC on orange pad

NXT via grey pad

Wheel Wells got Simpley Green to clean

Wheel Wells, tires and running boards got Tire Magic spray (don't like this stuff so I need to get rid of it)

exhaust got Simply Green, then #0000 Steele Wool and glass cleaner to polish up!

The roof has some misc tar that needs to get removed, but I'm too short (even on tip toes and on inside floor) so it'll happen when I get a ladder to stand on or something. . .

thanks! That hood was HUGE and there was a section in the middle by the wipers that I physically could not reach (again too short!)

I didn't even touch the windshield either. . .

I hear ya man. My mom has an LX470 and the roof is a royal PITA even with the suspension lowered all the way down...and I'm 6'3! I usually climb up on the tires and balance myself on them while I am polishing.

Very nice job on the Ford. That is a beefy looking truck, I'm sure you were worn out by the time you finished that up huh?! :D

The owner sounds like an amazing guy. People like that are an inspiration.
