Picnic with Poorboy and friends

So just to get this streight! "Picnic with Poorboy & Friends" would be on the weekend of August 20-21st! Location tentative Darlington in Mahwah New Jersey

Does anyone have a prefrence as to Saturday(20th) or Sunday(21st).
We could do this PotLuck style ... everyone brings a lil something! (Just a suggestion)
 
I think it would be best to plan for Saturday with a rain date of Sunday...pot luck is a good idea ...and we already have the hotdogs;) :lol

Also I am just thinking about it. We can also go to the Ridgewood Duck Pond. They have some areas where you can BBQ and such. I don't beleve that there is swiming there but there is always plenty of picnic area! And its not much further away from me than Darlington as an alternitive that is!

Actually, the hotdogs are sitting in my freezer. So, I'll have to bring those too. :lol

The hardest thing to transport is ice. We went through about 60-80 pounds a day during the Detailing Weekend event. Once we decide on a venue for the picnic, we'll need a volunteer to pick up ice from a nearby location.
 
ahh its great living local! There is a deli that has Ice not even 2 miles down the Road! I would try the excuse that "I don't have room" in the mustang but after seeing all the space that you have in your Porsche Id be kinda embarassed!

Maybe I will Take my brothers F150 and let him take the mustang for the day (eek)

Okay, so they're probably not coming. :(

Let's see if we can get a preliminary headcount. Then, we can figure out what type/size of venue would work best. Going by the earlier responses to this thread, the current headcount is about 18 (including significant others and children) -

I'll add Setec Astronomy to the list. :) So, we're up to about 19 people now.
 
Its good to see so many people intrested in getting together for a non-detailing detailing event! I Should have the opertunity to find out the details on Darlington this weekend I will post my findings!
 
DAMN IT! That month I'm rolling out a new Target store in RI!! Sure wish I could be there!

I'm sure it will be a nice change from detailing the cars. Maybe a chance for a product improvement session discussion. ;)

Oh well, there's always next year...

Sounds like fun and is probably a little closer to me. I'd be willing to come as long as i'm not working and weather cooperates.

I don't even want to think about August though, that means school is right around the corner :flamed :brick
 
Well I had the opertunity to put a call into darlington over the weekend and the response I got was not what I was looking for "Can you call back durring the week" So I am going to call this afternoon and get all of the particulars.

I will post as soon as I get an answer
